You’ll come upon this quest after cleansing the Torii gates in Chapter 2’s main story mission. After you do, you can go to the left when facing away from the shrine and talk to the spirit of a man that tells Akito and KK about a Japanese doll that resulted in his death that he asks you to track.

How to Complete A Doll’s Last Rites Side Mission in Tokyo Ghostwire:
- Press Square to open up Spectral Vision and track the doll’s movements
Follow the trail until you reach an alley you can’t go through.
- When it goes in the alley, look to the right and grapple the Tengu.
This takes you to a building where you can now continue to follow the trail.
- Follow it until you reach a building where it flies upwards. Grapple the Tengu at the top of the building.
- Jump down to the building’s roof below while following the trail.
This leads to an area of ladders and ledges you need to traverse to get follow the doll.
- Defeat the enemies, climb the ladder to the left, and cleans the straw doll nailed to the wall on the left.
The doll is located right across from the one you are chasing.
- Grab the doll you don’t cleanse and talk to the spirit back at the shrine you’ll have completed the mission.
