While the game may not be about conflict, there is still some thinking to be had here, as it is still a strategy and puzzle game. Growing a beautiful village takes forward planning, and if you want that high score, you best be racking your brains.

Players start the game with a stack of procedurally generated tiles, placing said tiles and drawing from the pile each time. You can choose any of the available slots to put down your tile, or rotate them for the best fit. Groups and combinations will come into play as the world gets bigger, and depending on how they all fit, you will get points for your efforts.

Throw in quests and special requirements, and you can see how Dorfromantik will challenge your strategic thinking. There are also new and colorful biomes to be discovered, and it is all delivered in a tranquil style.

Get ready to create the idyllic world of your dreams this coming April 28 when Dorfromantik launches on PC.
