Bungie Allowing for One Time Name ID Changes; Going Live Tomorrow

If you’re dying to change your Bungie ID name, you now have your chance. The creators of Destiny announced today that starting after a hotfix that is going to go live tomorrow at 9:00 am PT, account holders will have the option by logging onto Bungie.net.

To be honest, I didn’t even realize Bungie IDs were a thing. I just assumed everything was tied to our platform IDs. But hey, if you’re on the Bungie forums, and are dying to change your name up, then tomorrow is the big day. Head on over to Bungie.net after the update and go to the top right to sign in to your account.

Just remember, it’s one time only and it may be a while before Bungie allows it again, if ever, so choose wisely.
