While Lost Ark does a pretty damn good job of making players feel powerful from the very beginning of the game, you’ll inevitably run into some tough encounters that might even give you a run for your money.
That’s why it’s important to learn how to heal up and restore health whenever you get into trouble.
Some classes, like the Mage, can heal up with their abilities. Others will need to rely on more traditional means, like potions.
Healing in Lost Ark
- If you’re using a class with healing abilities, all you have to do is click it on your hotbar.
Make sure you’ve got your healing ability assigned to your hotbar by pressing K, and dragging the ability to the bar. After that, you can manually click on the hotbar to use it, or press the keybind for it to use the ability. Do note that all abilities have cooldowns, so be careful with how often you’re spamming it.
- If you don’t have any healing abilities, you’ll need to use potions.
Press the I key to open your inventory and drag your potions to your hotbar. Similar to healing abilities, you can click on them to immediately consume a potion. Do note that potions do also have a cooldown period of about 10 seconds, so use them carefully.
- Make sure to stock up on potions whenever you’re in town.
Potions are a pretty common drop from enemies so you’ll rarely ever be in danger of running out. However, if you do get low on potions, you can always purchase more from the vendors in town or at camps.
The key thing here is to have your abilities and potions easily accessible on your hotbar, so you’re always able to click on them in a pinch. Use them carefully and you should get through most of the content in Lost Ark just fine.
Increasing Max Health
