When Can You Preload Dying Light 2?

Xbox owners can begin preloading Dying Light 2 right now ahead of its release on Feb. 4. The preload update started to get pushed out last week as a 35 GB update, noticed by u/TheBl4ckSh33p on Reddit. Preload for Dying Light 2 on PS4 and PS5 will begin on Feb. 2, two days prior to the game’s official release date on Feb. 4.

This news comes via @PlayStationGameSize on Twitter, leaking the information from a PlayStation Store database update.

Unlock Times

Dying Light 2 will unlock on all platforms at midnight on Feb. 4 in your respective timezone.

What the Dying Light 2 Install Size Is

The Dying Light 2 install size on all platforms is listed below.

  • PS4: TBC
  • PS5: 34.725 GB
  • Xbox One: TBC
  • Xbox Series X|S: 35 GB
  • PC: Minimum 60 GB available space

Keep in mind, the file size could change for the game as post-launch updates are released and amend the current files and code listed above.

Similarly, there’s also a chance the file size could get reduced slightly in size, too, as the developers find ways to further compress the file down to help reduce its footprint on your storage drive.

That’s everything you need to know to make sure you’re all set for Dying Light 2. For more tips, tricks and guides, head over to our wiki or see more of our coverage on the game below.
