We learn about a new mode titled “Golden Arena Mode” which adds RPG elements to the game.

By fighting you accumulate experience points and level up. You can freely allocate stats building up characters however you want and even unlock nearly 200 skills. Selecting a partner grows their “community” support skills that can also be advantageous in battle.

Other modes include Arcade Mode (the story mode), Score Attack Mode, Network Mode (which lets you play online), Versus Mode, Gallery Mode, Lesson Mode (the basic tutorial), Training Mode, and Challenge Mode.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is coming for PS4, Switch, and PC on March 17.
