Today prolific Japanese developer Nippon Ichi Software opened a teaser website for a new game.

The website simply shows a pocket watch and the mention that there are three days left, which likely means a reveal on Famitsu as usual.

Since it’s in the “consumer” section of Nippon Ichi’s site, this means that it’s a game for consoles. “Consumer” is the way Japanese developers refer to console games.

Nippon Ichi Software has provided no further information at the moment. The Gifu-based company definitely loves teases like this, and they do it for basically every game they announce.

Of course, you can expect to read it here as soon as the full reveal is made, but for now, your guess is as good as mine.

If you’d like to read more about Nippon Ichi Software’s games, they recently revealed the strategy JRPG Shikabane Kurai no Bouken Meshi for PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

The consoles by Sony and Nintendo appear to be NIS’ preferred platforms as of late so it’s very possible that this new game will appear on those as well.

At the moment, we have no idea of whether this new game will be localized by the company’s American arm NIS America. They localize most of their parent company’s games, but not all.

Their recent The Cruel King and The Great Hero will come west in early 2022 for PS4 and Nintendo Switch as well.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality), MMORPGs, and visual novels are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
