If you have been messing around the wild and crazy wild of GTA Online, Rockstar is preparing new story content update that will bring back a familiar face. On December 15, Franklin Clinton, one of the three main protagonists of the single-player portion of Grand Theft Auto V, will make his way into GTA Online, together with Dr. Dre and new and unreleased music from the rapper in The Contract.
The new content will see the story pick up years after the events in the main game, with actor Shawn Fonteno reprising his role. Players can expect to get into more mayhem together with Franklin in GTA Online, together with new side missions, weapons, and of course, vehicles.
A new radio station will be added, and according to Rockstar, we can expect “huge first-of-their-kind updates to existing radio stations including a ton of new and unreleased exclusive tracks from Dr. Dre and a heavy-hitting line-up of artists.”
While it may be disappointing to those that are not interested at all in the online portion of GTA, having Franklin return is a big deal, and may very well be worth checking out for those on the sidelines. The new update will be free, and will arrive for all GTA Online players this December 15.
