AGDQ 2022’s Full Schedule Gets Locked In With Plenty of Bonus Games to Look Forward To

Last week, we got a look at the full list of games that were set to be run during Awesome Games Done Quick 2022. This week, it looks like the schedule has finally been locked in, with specific times and runner names all added into the schedule itself. AGDQ 2022 looks pretty stacked with tons of exciting recent game releases, including Chicory: A Colorful Tale and Final Fantasy VII Remake – Intergrade as one of the bonus game incentives.

We’ll also be getting speedruns of some older games as well, such as NieR: Automata, and some speedrunning staples like Mario, Sonic, and Castlevania.

Wrapping up the entire event at the end of the week is a speedrun of Metal Gear Solid on Extreme difficulty by dlimes13, who will be completing every boss encounter of the game. The original Metal Gear Solid (and the series as a whole) has always lent itself pretty well to speedruns, so this will be a fun one to close out the event on.

AGDQ 2022 will run from Jan. 9 to 16, 2022.
