The game’s afoot — or rather — the game’s Tangle Tower.
Yes, UK-based studio SFB Games has just launched its new detective sleuth-’em-up on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
Coinciding with the title’s new release, the developer dropped a launch trailer to commemorate the occasion. Go ahead and check out the new video down below:
There’s something undoubtedly charming about its comic book-esque presentation, jovial soundtrack, snappy dialogue and convincing voice acting. Plus, it’s nice to see some light puzzle elements interwoven with its traditional point-and-click adventure gameplay.
For those unaware, Tangle Tower launched on Nintendo Switch, iOS and PC back in 2019. It was pretty well-received on Switch and boasts an 85 Metacritic score from 11 critics. Not too shabby, eh?

Grimoire and Sally will have to investigate every corner of Tangle Tower and its surrounding grounds, interrogate the two eccentric families who live there, search for clues and piece every bizarre detail together. Tangle Tower has already enjoyed a warm reception on Steam, Apple Arcade and Nintendo Switch, with players around the world delighting in the rich, intricate world that SFB Games have created, and leaving thousands of glowing reviews. The game also won the IndieCade award for best performance, was selected for the PAX East Indie Showcase, and was nominated for both a BAFTA award and a BitSummit award.
