Players may encounter and catch Wooloo, Skwovet, and Falinks during this event, and the legendary dogs Zacian and Zamazaneta will appear in five-star raids.
There’s also a tease for an event featuring Hoopa, a legendary Pokemon who seems responsible for why the Galarian Pokemon are appearing.
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Overview Trailer
During the Pokemon Presents video, we saw a detailed trailer featuring information from the upcoming remakes, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. The trailer gave us an overview of what the game is about, who Team Galactic is, and some of the new features we can expect that make the games differ from the originals.
One new feature that was announced is a place called Pokemon Hideaways that cause certain Pokemon to appear depending on which statues you’ve placed in your Secret Base. Some Pokemon may be exclusive to this area. Another new feature is the ability to change your outfit after collecting new clothes and styles.
Finally, in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the fan-favorite feature of partner Pokemon walking behind you during your journey is back.
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will release for the Switch later this year on Nov. 19.
Dialga and Palkia Switch Lite
If you’re excited about the upcoming remakes above, you may be interested in the special edition Switch Lite featuring legendary Pokemon Dialga and Palkia that was announced.
This special edition Switch Lite will feature the two cover legendaries from Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and is a nod to the special edition Nintendo DS Lite that featured the same two Pokemon back in 2006.
This Switch Lite will be available to purchase beginning on Nov. 5.
