Teatre Mechanicus is the newest major event to go live in Genshin Impact, and it’s lasting until Aug. 26. Like Lost Riches, this is another rerun of a past event, but this time it’s happening in Inazuma thanks to the 2.0 update. Genshin Impact 2.0 Theatre Mechanicus Guide
First of all, you’ll need to be Adventure Rank 30 to participate. The Ritou Escape Plan quest also needs to be completed beforehand. To start the event, speak to Komakata in Inazuma City.
Theatre Mechanicus is essentially a tower defense event that can be played in two-player co-op. It’s all about completing set challenges in Stages of Wonder. The event has 10 Stages in total but only four are available at first, with two new ones being added daily. The main goal in each Stage is to make sure that your Terminus Integrity doesn’t reach 0 HP.
Defeating the attacking monsters will earn you Veneficus Points, which are used to construct Mechanici items for your defense. As you complete stages, you’ll earn Mechanicus Mastery EXP, which raises your Mastery Level. A Higher Mastery Level allows you to choose new Mechanici items to help in your defense.
Fortune Sticks and Mystic Sticks can also be used to achieve victory here. Fortune Sticks provide buffs to Mechanici, while Mystic Sticks buff players themselves. However, there are also Courage Sticks that buff opponents. Though, defeating buffed enemies grants more rewards.
Using all of these features and gameplay elements is key for this tower defense event.
Theatre Mechanicus Rewards
As Stages get completed, you’ll earn Wondrous Talismans along with Mechanicus Mastery EXP. Wondrous Talismans can be used in the Theatre Mechanicus event shop, like most major events in Genshin Impact.
The shop contains Primogems, Talent Level-Up Material, Hero’s Wit, and Mora to purchase with Wondrous Talismans. These talismans disappear once the event ends, so be sure to use them while you can.
