How to Complete Chouji’s Storyline in Genshin Impact
Gazing Three Thousand Miles Away Quest Guide
To start the storyline, speak to Chouji at the upper level of Jakotsu Mine in Inazuma. This will begin the Gazing Three Thousand Miles quest. Here’s the exact location if you can’t seem to find him:
The first thing he’ll ask you to do is collect 12 Crystal Marrow, which isn’t too difficult at all. Follow our guide to find more right here if you don’t have enough on you already. Once you’ve given the Crystal Marrow to Chouji, he’ll point you in the direction of a treasure that turns out to be fake.
Confront Chouji after being scammed, then wait until the next day to talk to him again. He’ll ask you to get him 12 Crystal Marrow once again. After running those errands, speak to Chouji again and head over to his house near Jakotsu Mine. It’ll be marked on your map.
Your list of tasks isn’t complete just yet, though. Now you’ll need to cook Imported Poultry by using Fowl, Flour, Bird, Eggs, and Lavender Melons. Cook it in the pot next to Chouji’s house, then bring it to him.
The final step in this quest for Chouji in Genshin Impact is to check the shrine behind his house. Use the nearby Electrogranum plant to get through the Electro barrier and investigate the shrine. After that, return to Chouji once more to complete the quest.
Getting Chouji’s Achievement
Speak to Chouji at his house again after the next server refresh, which happens every day at 2 AM PT / 5 AM ET. Unsurprisingly, he’ll ask for 12 more Crystal Marrow. Give them to him and he’ll set off for Tatarasuna. Find him again and open the chest next to him at this location:
Chouji can then be found on Narukami Island in Inazuma City. Look for him at the shrine located just off the city streets next to another chest just north of the special item shop. This is his exact location:
After following Chouji all the way to Inazuma City, he’ll finally depart for good, ending his storyline. After this final conversation, you’ll earn the “…And I Would Walk 3,000 More” Achievement and the Primogems that it comes with.
