Yes, the much anticipated game is now officially available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Feel free to feast your eyes on the brand new video down below:

As you can see, Cold Iron Studios has really pulled the stops out with this new trailer as it really does capture the action-packed horror nicely. You get glimpses of a lot of the new environments that are inspired by Ridley Scott’s original classic Alien and his underrated prequel Prometheus, too.

Yours truly reviewed the PS5 version of Aliens: Fireteam Elite for Twinfinite and I really enjoyed my time with the title, ultimately awarding it a 4/5, concluding:

All in all, however, these are very minor reservations for what is ultimately one of the best action-centric games based on the Aliens licence, well… ever. It’s consistently engaging, surprisingly deep and radically enhanced when you’ve got a couple of friends in tow. While a few minor AI and presentational bugs hold it back from being the perfect organism fans have been hoping for, Aliens: Fireteam Elite absolutely nails that one-last-stand thrill of roleplaying a badass marine with your back against the wall battling overwhelmingly insurmountable odds. Let’s rock? Aye-firmative.

If you’re busy playing the game and you’re wondering how to unlock the fifth secret Recon class, then we’ve got you covered. And if you’re wondering how to unlock the Horde mode, we can help you out there as well.

For an official description of Aliens: Fireteam Elite, here’s the rundown courtesy of the game’s press release:

Aliens: Fireteam Elite drops your fireteam of hardened marines into a desperate fight to contain the evolving Xenomorph threat. With over 20 enemy types, players must face off against waves of terrifying Xenomorph and Weyland-Yutani Synthetic foes alongside two players or AI teammates, as they desperately fight through four unique campaigns that introduce new storylines to the Alien universe.

The game allows players to customize their own Colonial Marine, choosing from an extensive variety of classes, weapons, gear, and perks, battling overwhelming odds in this heart-pounding survival shooter experience.

But what say you? Are you busy getting your action fix from Cold Iron Studios’ latest co-op shooter? Or did you give Aliens: Fireteam Elite a hard pass? Grab those smartguns and let us know in the usual place down below.
