If you recently picked up the latest Legend of Zelda game, Skyward Sword HD, you should know that there are a few times in the game that you’ll be asked to find the Knight Commander. One of these times is during the beginning of the game, and another time is during a side quest. If you have trouble finding him, we’ve got you covered. Where to Find the Knight Commander in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD
The Knight Commander will be in the same spot at every point throughout the game in Skyward Sword HD. Specifically, you can find in him the Sparring Hall on Skyloft.
The Sparring Hall is right next to the Knight Academy, which is the building in which you start the game. If you’re still a bit lost, check your map using the minus button. We’ve marked the exact location of the Sparring Hall for you below.
There are two points in the game in which you’ll need to find the Knight Commander.
The first is at the very beginning of the game when you are trying to find Link’s missing Loftwing. The Knight Commander will supply you with a practice sword, so you’ll have to find him in the Sparring Hall to get that. He’ll also teach you how to use the sword at any point in the game, so if you need any tips, you can talk to him there.
The second time you’ll need to find him is during the hot pumpkin soup side quest.
To initiate this quest, head to Pumpkin Landing, which is a big floating island in the sky that is shaped like a pumpkin. Go inside the building onto the second floor and roll against the balcony a few times. The chandelier will sway and eventually come crashing down.
The owner of the bar will be really upset and make you work to pay for the damages. The first thing you need to do for him is deliver a bottle of pumpkin soup to the Knight Commander, but it has to be warm. This means it must be brought to him in fewer than five minutes in real-time.
Luckily, now we know where he is. Fly back to Skyloft and head to the Sparring Hall where the Knight Commander will be waiting.
