The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes Coming This October

Today, during the Summer Game Fest kickoff live broadcast, Supermassive Games revealed a brand story trailer for the third installment in their Dark Pictures Anthology, House of Ashes. Alongside the trailer below, we also received a released date of Oct. 22, 2021.

In the video above, we get a more in-depth look at the setting the game will take place in, which seems to be a forgotten city deep under a desert battlefield. When a handful of soldiers fall into this city, they have to work together in order to survive the monsters lurking below.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes will be available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5 when it releases. Anyone interesting in pre-ordering can do so now via the official website. There is also a collectors edition available that features exclusive art, stickers, and in-game bonuses, as well as an underworld creature statue.
