Upgrade FF7 Remake to PS5 Intergrade

There are some caveats to be aware of even if you already own FF7 Remake on PS4. Firstly, if you have a physical copy of the game but the digital edition of the PS5 without a disc drive, you will not be eligible for the PS5 Intergrade upgrade. If you got the game on PS4 for free through PS Plus, you will also not be eligible for the upgrade.

This means that you need to have bought and own the digital version on PS4, or have a physical copy of the game and the physical edition PS5 in order to get the PS5 upgrade for free. By inserting your PS4 disc into the PS5, you should be able to upgrade for free via the product page.

In addition to that, even after you’ve upgraded to the PS5 version, you’ll still need to buy Episode Intermission, which is the story chapter with Yuffie, separately. The story chapter does not come bundled with Intergrade if you’re upgrading from PS4. The chapter costs $19.99 on the PlayStation Store.

That being said, if you purchase FF7 Remake Intergrade on PS5, the Yuffie chapter will come bundled with it.

If you do have the PS4 digital version registered on your account, simply go to the PlayStation Store and search for FF7 Remake Intergrade. Instead of having to purchase the game, you should be able to download and install the game to your console.

In addition to that, you can also transfer your PS4 save data over to your PS5 version, along with all your unlocked trophies.

That’s all you need to know about how to upgrade FF7 Remake to Intergrade on PS5. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
