It was just last month that after years of development we finally learned that Dying Light 2 is nearing its anticipated launch with the very first “Dying 2 Know,” an episodic series that spotlights new features included in Techland’s post-apocalyptic open-world sequel. Next week, there’s another one coming, and it’s once again been teased with a cryptic message sent to media outlets across the globe.
A postcard sent to Twinfinite’s HQ earlier this week reads “Are You Dying to Know More?” and at first appears blank before tilting it on an angle reveals a hidden date — Episode 2 of the Dying 2 Know series will broadcast next week, July 1, over on Techland’s Twitch channel.
There’s no clue as to what its focus will be this time around, but we figure it will probably spotlight a single major feature of the upcoming sequel. Perhaps a deeper dive into its story, or maybe we’ll get a better flavor for its gameplay with an extended presentation?
Last time, a general overview trailer gave us our first look at its overall design and gameplay in over 18 months. There was also new information about its various different editions for those interested in pre-ordering the game. You can check it out here if you missed it.
Dying Light 2 will release on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC later this year, Dec. 7.
