Anvil Saga Is a Charming Management Game that Lets You Build Your Own Blacksmith Enterprise

Management games are everywhere, but give me one with a charming pixel art style and cool premise and I’m all in. Pirozhok Studio and HeroCraft have officially announced Anvil Saga, a management game in which you play as a blacksmith and try to build the “smithy of your dreams.”

You can check out the announcement trailer down below.

Not only do you have to manage your workers’ moods and happiness, you’ll also have to juggle between various opposing factions, all of which will come to you for their weapons. Piss anyone off, though, and some might even decide to attack you.

Tying all of these elements together is the adorable 2D art style that has your character sprites walking back and forth and doing blacksmith things in beautiful, crisp animations. There’s no set release date for Anvil Saga just yet, though it’s planned for a 2021 release on Steam and players can sign up for the alpha now.
