Genshin Impact Staff of Homa: How to Get, Abilities & More

Developed by MiHoYo, Genshin Impact is a free-to-play gacha game that allows you to explore the beautiful open-world of Teyvat, while engaging in gacha elements to get more characters and weapons for your arsenal. Every month or so, MiHoYo also releases new timed exclusive characters and weapons that you can save up your primogems for. Getting the Staff of Homa in Genshin Impact

With Hu Tao being all but confirmed as the next timed exclusive 5-star character in Genshin Impact, you’ll probably want to prep a proper weapon for her if you’re planning on trying to get her.

MiHoYo has already revealed the new weapons banner, which is set to drop on Feb. 23, and players will have the chance to roll for the Wolf’s Gravestone and the Staff of Homa.

The Wolf’s Gravestone itself doesn’t really have a very attractive passive ability, but the Staff of Homa seems perfect for Hu Tao, who is very suited for a high HP/high main DPS build.

This new weapons banner will be available from Feb. 23, 6 p.m. to March 16, 3 p.m., server time.

In order to get it, you’ll need to use primogems. The good news, however, is that the weapons banner gives you a slightly increased legendary drop rate than the character banners. With a 75% increased drop rate, you have a very high chance of getting it when you roll a legendary.

• By increasing your Adventure Rank

Of course, you could also spend real money to purchase Genesis Crystals, which can be converted to primogems, but if you don’t want to shell out the cash, you’re better off trying to farm primogems in the game.

Staff of Homa Abilities and Ascension Materials

The special abilities of the Staff of Homa are as follows:

• HP increased by 20%.
• Additionally, provides an ATK Bonus based on 0.8% of the wielder’s max HP.
• When the wielder’s HP is less than 50%, this ATK Bonus is increased by an additional 1% of max HP.

By refining the ability and leveling it up, those bonuses will go up as well. Here are the ascension materials you’ll need to farm for it:

• Slime Condensate
• Piece of Aerosiderite
