In order to get the best possible loadouts in Ubisoft’s open-world RPG The Division 2, you’ll sometimes need to complete specific challenges by defeating enemies in certain ways. In this guide, we’ll be running you through how to confuse enemies, so you can unlock the Gunner spec (and complete other challenges) in The Division 2.
How to Confuse Enemies in The Division 2
The easiest way to confuse enemies in The Division 2 is to actually use the Gunner Spec’s Banshee Pulse. Using the Banshee Pulse on enemies will confuse any in the surrounding, affected area, allowing you to quickly gun them down with your preferred weapon and rack up the kills you need.
Of course, if you’re trying to unlock the Gunner Spec, you won’t have access to the Banshee Pulse, but if you’ve got a friend or can find another player who does already have it, then have them use their pulse to confuse enemies and let you gun them down.
The other method to confuse enemies is to look for Rusher enemy types during missions. Rusher’s have a bag which, when shot, will trigger confuse on the entire group. Gun these confused enemies down and you can quickly rack up the kills you need.
One of the best mission types for these is the Hyena Territory Control mission. When the second group of enemies spawn and come through the door, shoot the Rusher’s bag and you’ll confuse the entire group in one fell swoop. Whip out your most powerful weapon and gun them down for easy kills. Then all you need to do is rinse and repeat over and over.
