Watch Dogs Legion: How to Melee

While the bad guys in Watch Dogs Legion may be responsible for the pretty horrendous state of the game’s rendition of London, they’re only doing their job for the megacorporations. If you’re the type to wrestle with a guilty conscience then you may not want to put a bullet in their head. In this guide, we’ll talk you through how to melee in Watch Dogs Legion, so you can make enemies unconscious rather than killing them.

How to Melee Attack in Watch Dogs Legion

To melee attack, simply press Square on PS4 or X on Xbox One. You may need to use your melee attack a few times in order to knock an enemy out.

Once they have been knocked out, you can pick up and move their bodies out of sight or into a room where they cannot intervene when they regain consciousness.

Melee attacks are best combined with a stealthy play style, rather than simply running head-first at the enemy you’re wanting to neutralize.

It’s worth pointing out that your melee attack will remain the same throughout Watch Dogs Legion. There are no upgrades you can purchase for it to make it stronger or more powerful. What you get at the beginning of the game is what you’ll rock for the duration.

Don’t try and melee your way out of every scenario, though. Sometimes, when you’re outnumbered, the better option is to gun your way outta there.
