New Stardew Valley Mods September 2020

Kicking off our list of the best Stardew Valley mods of September 2020, we have these adorable custom sprites for your tools.

They will change the appearance of your tools from boring wood and metal to rustic and pastel designs. There are 20 new sprites in total, with five each for the watering can, hoe, pickaxe, and axe.

Just like the normal sprites, the designs will change based on their upgrade level including normal, copper, steel, gold, and iridium.

Re-imagined Standard Farm

This next mod makes the standard farm layout map look a lot more organized.

The spaces on the farm are more nicely mapped out, with clear lines that will make it easy to decide how to space out your crops.

The pond is also moved over to the left of the map, taking up much less space and looking more like a water feature rather than a body of water sitting randomly in the middle of your field.

The paths spread out will make it easier to get around, and there is even a cute heart shaped dirt shape near the top of the farm for an added touch.

Victorian Craftables

Leave it to Stardew Valley modders to take the time to make a huge set of totally custom items to make the game feel more cozy and Victorian.

This awesome mod offers a ton of CC as shown in the picture above. If you are going for a farm with a sense of refinement and class then this will be the mod for you.

This mod is said to be inspired by the very popular Eemie’s Victorian Buildings mod, which offers adorable Victorian styled building for every one you can build on your farm, even the greenhouse.

Better Gemstones Animations

New Stardew Valley Mods September 2020

This mod adds a whopping 56 animations to all the gemstones in Stardew Valley. This includes ones for 40 minerals, 12 gems, and four geodes.

They will now sparkle and glitter in the light, and look a lot more realistic than their stationary predecessors.

It’s important to note the gemstones this adds animations to are not the vanilla ones. You will also have to download the Better Gems and Minerals mod by cometkins from February 2020, and this will add animations to those custom sprites.

Better Resources

Speaking of the Better Gems and Minerals mod from cometkins, this next mod comes from the same creator and now offers better looking resources alongside minerals and gems.

The sprites for resources in the game are now customized to look more realistic and have a toned-down color palette with the goal of them looking more pleasant on the eyes overall.

This includes 34 new sprites in total, from stumps and weeds to grass and acorns.

Better Fishing and Beach Foraging

Once again, we have cometkins who had a busy month apparently coming in with another amazing mod that seeks to make the game look just a bit better through the use of custom sprites.

Like the minerals and resources, these sprites center around fishing, and are more realistic and toned down in color.

The mod includes new sprites for fish, crab pots, and beach forageables. There are 89 of them in total so far, with the mod page stating it is a work in progress and more fish are to be coming later on.

Unlimited Gift

New Stardew Valley Mods September 2020

This mod gets rid of the restrictions that Stardew Valley places on your in regards to giving gifts to NPCs.

Once downloaded, you will be able to gift as many gifts as you want instead of having to wait as the game gives you a limit of once per day or once per week.

It’s sure to allow you to get your heart levels up with the NPCs quite a lot faster.

Build on Any Tile

No longer will the confines of space and time prevent you from putting your buildings exactly where you want them.

This mod allows you to place a build-able object anywhere on otherwise unplaceable tiles. This could include water, cliffs, or other constructs.

This will allow for a lot of creativity, like placing things over water to make it look like a decorated pond. Or layering buildings on top of each other to look like bigger buildings.

Better Backyard

This mod will allow you to make the most out of our Stardew Valley backyard by simply getting a few pesky bushes out of the way.

It tweaks the location behind your farm house that would otherwise be perfect for construction to get rid of some immovable objects to allow you to place more building in this tighter space.

As you can see above, you will now be able to fit numerous buildings behind your farmhouse just by removing a few bushes that blocked those locations.

Community Center Helper

We saved one of the best for last, as this mod was one of the most downloaded on Nexus Mods for September 2020.

Finishing up the requirements for the community center can be a pain, especially trying to remember what you still need and how to get it in order to finish any specific bundle.

This mod is a helper tool for just that issue. Hovering over an item in the menu will let you know the specific steps in how you can get that item, as well as what level you will need for specific skills in order to do so.

For example as seen above, in order to get cloth a player would need to get wool from a sheep or rabbit, and use it in a loom you can access once you reach level seven of the farming skill.

It’s sure to cut down your time googling wikis to figure out how to get each specific item.
