Modern Warfare’s big new Halloween event is finally here, bringing new modes to play and a variety of cosmetic items to collect. Thankfully, there are some spooky things that happen whether you want them to or not. So that you can get in the Halloween spirit while playing, here’s everything you need to know about how to get a pumpkin head in Modern Warfare and Warzone.
Getting the Pumpkin Head in Modern Warfare & Warzone
First thing you need to know is that getting the pumpkin head is not something that requires you to buy a skin or change Operator. Instead, it’s something you do in a match that gives it to you.
What you need to do is get a three kill streak, at which point your character’s head will turn into a pumpkin. Then, if you reach ten kills without dying, the pumpkin head will set alight, looking even cooler in the darker nighttime maps.
It’ll disappear when you die, but you’ll have another chance to get it when you respawn.
In Warzone however, it doesn’t seem to be so simple. While you’re still supposed to get it after getting three kills, and I’ve seen other people with it, it’s not worked when me and my squad have got three kills in a row, whether that be in the new nighttime mode or the standard daytime battle royale.
As soon as we work out exactly when you need to do, we’ll be sure to update you here. For now, just keep getting kills and keep your fingers crossed that it appears. We know for sure that it works in standard multiplayer though.
That’s everything you need to know about how to get a pumpkin head in Modern Warfare and Warzone. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our wiki guide for the base game and the battle royale, or search for Twinfinite.
