This week has seen the release of Outer Worlds‘ Peril on Gorgon DLC almost a year after its release. In the DLC, players will have to investigate some mysterious goings-on over on the Gorgon asteroid, the site of one of the most ambitious scientific undertakings in Halcyon. With a healthy chunk of additional content up for grabs, some players have been wondering if Outer Worlds’ Peril on Gorgon DLC is on Game Pass.

Is Outer Worlds Peril on Gorgon on Game Pass?

Unfortunately, no, Outer Worlds’ Peril on Gorgon is not available on Game Pass. This includes both Xbox Game Pass and Game Pass for PC.

While the full game is available for Game Pass subscribers to download from the service’s library of over 100 games, DLC for these games isn’t automatically made free. Sometimes new content updates may be released and made available for free, but Outer Worlds’ Peril on Gorgon DLC is not one of those.

This may come as disappointing news to some Game Pass subscribers, but the good news is that if Peril on Gorgon or whatever else developer Obsidian Entertainment has in the pipelines for Outer Worlds, you can save 10% on the normal price. It’s a special Game Pass discount, which is certainly better than a punch in the mouth, so we’re all for it!
