If the name doesn’t ring a bell, Reflector recently revealed Unknown 9: Awakening for PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.

The acquisition is expected to be closed in the fourth quarter of this year. Reflector co-founder Alexandre Amancio will become chief creative officer and will work side-by-side with Hervé Hoerdt, vice president of Content, marketing and bigital at Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe, who will manage the transition as CEO.

This operation is part of BN’s plan to expand its development capabilities in the west.

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe chief operative officer Arnaud Muller accompanied the press release with a statement.

“Designing and developing the content we shall publish and distribute is the cornerstone of our strategy..

The creative vision and development capacity of Reflector Entertainment will boost BNEE’s ability to craft breathtaking experiences over the years. We look forward to working with such a skilled team, and to welcome them to the BNE family.”

We also hear from Amancio.

“The reach to worldwide audiences and the endless entertainment possibilities offered by the synergies with BNEE and the rest of the group will provide a great long-term perspective for the team, here in Montreal”
