Spiritfarer is full of cozy activities and one of those includes the ability to play guitar. While this generally isn’t a required skill needed to progress in the game, passing the time by playing the guitar actual has a few benefits. So, here’s everything you need to know about how to play guitar in Spiritfarer.
Playing Guitar in Spiritfarer
The guitar manifests from the Everlight Stella carries around on her belt and, to activate it, you need to press and hold the “guitar button” which is different on each console and on PC.
You can also wait until Summer shows you how to do it in the story.
This is generally the way you’ll learn how to play since this activity is a major part of Summer’s questline. She’ll show you that playing music to your crops will actually help accelerate their growth. You’ll see this working when the plant you play to “dances” in the dirt.
You can grow an entire tree within a couple of minutes of playing guitar over waiting around for it to slowly get bigger. So, this is a rather beneficial way to pass the time while traveling between locations or while waiting for the sun to come up.
To play songs on the guitar, you’ll need to press specific buttons when prompted on screen. The timing will be marked by a line and you simply need to press the respective button once it’s right in the middle of it.
This allows you to play some pretty cozy music.
