During a Nintendo Indie World Showcase presentation today, it was announced that A Short Hike will be available to download today on the Nintendo Switch as a timed console launch exclusive.
A Short Hike is a low-poly indie adventure title that totally has lo-fi Animal Crossing vibes. You can play as a bird who is trying to get to the top of a mountain so that they can call their mother –how sweet.
It’s a pretty short game that can be completed in an hour or two and thanks to the quirky writing, unique characters, relaxing soundtrack, A Short Hike is a must-play indie title.

Hike, climb, and soar through the peaceful mountainside landscapes of Hawk Peak Provincial Park. Follow the marked trails or explore the backcountry as you make your way to the summit. Along the way, meet other hikers, discover hidden treasures, and take in the world around you.
