The Original Shantae to Get a Limited Run GBC Physical Release this September

Limited Run is known for producing and selling physical versions of popular indie games that may not have gotten physical releases when they first launched. They’re usually in limited supply, though, and the same can probably be said for their upcoming release: the original GBC Shantae.

Over on Twitter, WayForward Games has just announced that Limited Run will be releasing a physical version for GBC Shantae as a reproduction cart and will be available for pre-order this September.

That’s not the only bit of good news, though. The game will also be coming to the Nintendo Switch both physically and digitally. If you’re a huge Shantae fan, you’ll definitely want to look out for the Game Boy Color reproduction cart and the Switch version if you’re feeling nostalgic.
