The Neighborhood Action Plan is a huge part of The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle expansion. But to make the most of it, you’ll need Influence Points. Here’s how to get Influence Points in Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle.
Neighborhood Action Plans allow you to choose a plan that will determine how your neighbors act and which improvements your neighborhood benefits from. To be able to vote on your neighborhood’s plan, though, you’ll need Influence Points. Each time you vote, you’ll use 10 Influence Points.
Once you’ve got 10 you can then head over to a Public Voting Board or your mailbox to place a vote on the Neighborhood Action Plan you want to see enacted.
The problem is, just because you’ve voted for one plan, doesn’t mean all your neighbors will. If you’re not careful, you can get outvoted so you’ll want to vote multiple times. To do this, you’re going to need a lot of points.
How to Get Influence Points in Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle
Influence Points can be obtained in a ton of different ways by simply interacting with your neighbors and community and generally progressing through your Sim’s life. We’ve listed all your possible options below:
- Becoming Friends with Neighbors
- Get a Promotion
- Give Gifts to Other Sims
- Host Events and Parties
- Inviting Sims to your house
- Mentor Sims
- Take part in festivals and holiday events
- Use the cheat to get 15 Influence Points immediately
- Volunteer
Using Influence Points to Vote on Neighborhood Action Plans
Once you’ve got at least 10 Influence Points, go to the Public Voting Board or the mailbox and select the option to place your votes.
Voting only takes place between Friday at 8am and Monday at 6pm. Outside of these hours you will not be able to vote. Once the vote has closed at 6pm on the Monday, the Neighborhood Action Plan with the most votes will immediately be enacted.
If you want to make sure your chosen Neighborhood Action Plan wins the vote, we suggest using the cheat to get 15 points repeatedly and pouring multiple votes into it.
You can also try convincing your fellow neighbors to vote for the plan you want by clicking on them and selecting the ‘Convince to Support’ option. This will cost 5 Influence Points, however, so make sure you’ve got enough spare.
