Igglybuff, the pre-evolution of the beloved Jigglypuff, is available in Pokemon Sword & Shield via the Isle of Armor. Fortunately, Igglybuff isn’t too difficult to obtain as long as you have the expansion pass so let’s go over how to get Igglybuff in Pokemon Sword and Shield: Isle of Armor.
How to Get Igglybuff in Pokemon Sword & Shield
Igglybuff is the lowest form of the Jigglypuff family of Pokemon. In Isle of Armor (the Fields of Honor specifically) Jigglypuffs can commonly be found roaming about. You can catch these Jiggypuffs, breed them, and get Igglybuffs.
Alternatively, Igglybuffs do appear as max raid battles sometimes. Simply roam around looking for active dens and you may find the distinctive silhouette of an Igglybuff waiting for you.
Fighting one is the same as any max raid battle. A five star fight is going to be significantly tougher than anything four or lower, so be prepared with a powerful Pokemon if you’re going to attempt it. We also recommend you fight online with actual players because the AI for a solo battle is usually pretty awful.
If you don’t have Isle of Armor, you won’t have access to Igglybuffs and Jigglypuffs nor the option to max raid battle them, but you can still trade with a friend and breed your own at the very least and of course, transfer one over via Pokemon Home.
That’s all you need to know for how to get Igglybuff in Pokemon Sword and Shield and the Isle of Armor DLC expansion pack.
