As part of the May Day event, you’ll be able to go on a special tour between the dates of May 1 to May 7. Speak with Tom Nook at Resident Services and he’ll inform you that he’s set aside a May Day Ticket for you at the airport. Talk to Orville at the airport and select the May Day Tour, and you’ll be able to visit a special island where you can try to complete a maze.
As you’re forced to attempt the maze without any of your original inventory, you’ll need to make use of the tools and materials provided on the island itself to make it through. However, it is possible to mess up the maze and find yourself stuck with no way of proceeding.
If this happens, bring up your Nook Phone and choose the Rescue Services app, then spend 100 Nook Miles to go back to the starting position and reset the maze. This is useful if you’re stuck, or if you’ve missed the path to getting extra rewards. You can also talk to Wilbur at the plane to ask for hints about progressing through the maze.
If, however, you’re looking to repeat the May Day Tour after you’ve already completed it, there doesn’t seem to be a way to do that at the moment. Once you complete the maze and collect the prize, you won’t be able to attempt the maze again.
