From May 1 to May 7, players will be able to take part in a special one-off May Day Tour in Animal Crossing New Horizons. You’ll be flown off to an island where you’ll have to make your way through a tricky maze in order to get your prize. Here’s how to get through the May Day maze in Animal Crossing New Horizons.
Getting Through the May Day Maze in Animal Crossing New Horizons
When you decide to go on your May Day Tour, you’ll have to leave everything in your inventory behind and make do with whatever’s provided to you on the island. Thankfully, though, the island layout is the same for everyone so if you need some help getting through the maze, here’s what you need to know.
First, pick up the shovel in front of you and dig up the shrub on your left to find a fruit. Eat the fruit and shovel up the tree right in front of you to enter the maze proper.
Hop over the small holes, then follow the path till it leads you back towards the eastern direction where you can hop over the hole, and take the middle path down to get the worn axe.
Use the axe to chop down the tree in the middle to get more fruits, then eat them.
With the fruits and shovel, break the rocks in the east and west to collect more fruits and resources, and shovel up the tree in the southeast corner to access the workbench. Craft an axe.
Finally, head up north to cut down the three trees in your path and remove the stumps to talk to Rover. At this point, you can access the beach from the north and go back towards the south direction to collect your bonus Bell Vouchers.
Talk to Rover to collect your reward and end the May Day maze challenge.
That’s all you need to know about how to complete the May Day maze in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
