After about a month on Kickstarter, PlatinumGames’ campaign for The Wonderful 101: Remastered has just ended successfully.

The final tally is $2,235,547 pledged by 33,197 backers.

This is a metric ton of money more tha the original goal, which PlatinumGames had initially set at just over $51,000. Many of the stretch goals have  also been unlocked, ensuring that the experience will be better than ever.

This is certainly a strong show of support by PlatinumGames’ fans, that will soon be able to enjoy The Wonderful 101: Remastered on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

We already know that game will launch on different dates: North America will get the game first on May 19, followed by Europe on May 22. Japanese gamers will have to wait the longest, as they’ll get The Wonderful 101: Remastered on June 11.

The Wonderful 101: Remastered brings back PlatinumGames’ former Wii U-exclusive action game from 2013 for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC via Steam.

Incidentally, recently we also learned that PlatinumGames has another (likely self-published) project in store, which is yet to be revealed.

Another was revealed a few days ago and it’s code-named Project G.G. It’s PlatinumGames first self-published original IP and it’s directed by Hideki Kamiya himself.
