How to Find Gulliver on Your Island and Wake Him Up
While you were running around on your deserted island paradise in Animal Crossing New Horizons, you might have stumbled upon a shipwrecked seagull named Gulliver. He’ll randomly appear on the shore and will appear to be knocked out/ and or sleeping.
To wake him up, just keep talking to him repeatedly until he finally snaps out of him and stands up. It’ll take a couple of times but just keep doing it and he’ll awaken eventually.
Once he does, he’ll ask you to find five communicator parts around the island so that he can get in contact with his crew.
How to Find All Gulliver Communicator Parts in Animal Crossing New Horizons
These five pieces will be scattered about your island and will only be found on the sand by the water. What you need to do is slowly walk around your island’s shores until you spot these tiny little black holes with water spurting out of them. When you see one of these, use your shovel to take it out of the sand and it will most likely be one of the communicator parts.
There are other items that you can find via these tiny holes but just keep looking for them around the island and you’ll eventually find all five. Make sure to look carefully at the sand though because they’re very hard to spot.
Once you find all five of them, just head on back over to Gulliver and he’ll thank you for completing the task for him by sending you a unique item in the mail –the letter from Gulliver should arrive the next day in your mailbox that’s right in front of your home.

The items that Gulliver can send you are all varied and come from his travels. Each souvenir is based on a different country and it seems that the reward he sends are random.
For myself, Gulliver sent me a sombrero in the mail but you might get something different. Just make sure not to sell these items because you won’t be able to get these exclusive items anywhere else.
