Temtem shares a lot of similarities with Pokemon. You head out to catch creatures to build a team and take on other trainers, and exploration is a big part of the experience. So that you go back to getting around quickly, here’s everything you need to know about whether you can get your skates back in Temtem.
The Crystal Skates, as they’re called, are a piece of helpful gear that you’ll get as you play through Temtem. They let you get around easily, particularly in certain places.
As you play through the Adventure in the Myrisles quest, you’ll get a key for a lift that’s next to Mokupuni Dojo. Continuing the quest, you’ll meet Carlos just outside Giant Banyan area and, after doing what he instructs you, he’ll give you the skates.
However, you don’t keep them forever. Part way into the story, the airship will crash and you’ll lose access to your skates, which will make navigation more difficult.
Can You Get Skates Back in Temtem?
Unfortunately, there isn’t away to get them back after this point. Since they’re so useful while you have them, it’s annoying to lose them completely, so just make sure you’ve completed all the exploration focused quests soon after you acquire them.
You should still be able to do everything in the game, it might just be a bit tricker at points.
