Fortnite’s Dance Contest Challenges Players To Create Dance Emotes On TikTok

Epic Games has collaborated with popular music video app TikTok to host a dance competition where Fortnite players get a chance to have their dance moves turned into an emote in the game.

Time to slip into those dancing shoes and boogie to the groove of the latest dance craze brought to you by Fortnite and TikTok.

Epic Games announced Saturday that they have collaborated with the music video app TikTok to host a dance competition called #EmoteRoyaleContest, where players get a chance to create the best dance emote that will become immortalized into the game.

Players just need to videotape themselves dancing the most original, creative dance move and submit the video to TikTok with the hashtag #EmoteRoyaleContest (as long as the dance is set to a family-friendly soundtrack).

The dancer that wins the competition will have their dance turned into an emote in Fortnite. They’ll also win a whopping 25,000 V-Bucks and a Fortnite VIP package.

The contest runs until Jan. 24, so if you want become immortalized in Fortnite, boot up TikTok and drop it like it’s hot.
