Today, during Electronic Arts’ quarterly conference call for investors and analysts, chief executive officer Andrew Wilson talked about the future of The Sims 4

Speaking about the lineup for fiscal year 2021 (between April 2020 and March 2021) Wilson teased that the well of upcoming content for the popular game is far from drying up.

“We have ongoing growth expextations for The Sims 4 with new expansions and all-new ways to engage and grow the community.”

He also talked about the continuing success for the franchise, promising “new experiences for a long time to come.”

“The Sims 4 also continues to be an incredible long-term live service with a growing audience. Monthly average players are up more than 40% year-over-year in The Sims 4, and engagement across the franchise has led The Sims to Surpass five billion dollars in lifetime sales.

The Sims continues to be one of the great franchise in gaming, and we have plans to bring new experiences for a long time to come.”
