Persona 5 Royal Japanese TV Commercial Shows New Gameplay Footage & Story Beats

Obviously, the narration and dialog are all in Japanese, but it’s easy enough to pick out the sequences that represent newly added content for Royal, such as glimpses of the wrestling and beach scenes.

For that reason, too, we’ll advise you to avert your eyes if you’re sensitive to spoilers because there are potentially a fair few in here. Check it out below.

If you aren’t up to speed, Persona 5 Royal is set to expand the original game with substantial new story content in the form of a third school term that prolongs the adventures of the Phantom Thieves. It also adds a bunch of new features, including areas to explore, battle animations, and mini-games.

If you’d like to see more Persona 5 Royal content then you can check out two new clips released by Atlus earlier this month that showcases the new Challenge Battles and Fusion alarm features.

Persona 5: Royal launches in Japan later this month, Oct. 31 and then later in North American in Europe, March 2020.
