Modern Warfare: How to Equip Weapon Attachments

Like any other Call of Duty game, Modern Warfare is all about the guns. As you might expect, you can customize a lot about your loadout, and that includes attachments on each of your guns, in order to find tune them to your needs. With that, here’s how to equip weapon attachments in Modern Warfare.

How to Equip Attachments in Modern Warfare

You can customize each and every weapon, with a variety of different options.

First off, go to the multiplayer mode and head to the weapons tab. From there select Edit Loudouts and then pick the one you want to customize. Now you can either select the Gunsmith option next to the weapon or select the weapon itself and then press Square (X on Xbox) to get to Gunsmith that way.

Once you get to Gunsmith you’ll see the weapon, with lines leading to each of the available attachments for Muzzle, Optic, Perk, Ammunition, etc.

Now all you need to do is select whichever section you want to switch out, then whichever attachment you want from the list that pops up. Keep in mind, however, that each weapon has a set number of attachments you can equip, and you’ll see this number represented by the orange circles on the loadout screen. It’s usually pretty clear cut, and broken down into a set number for each gun.

While you’ll start out with only a few attachments for each weapon, you can unlock more as you use the weapon and your weapon level goes up. That means if you find a gun you like, use it a lot so you can unlock everything for it.

That’s pretty much everything you need to know about how to equip weapon attachments in Modern Warfare.
