The news were shared by the game’s Director and Producer on the official Twitter account, alongside a tease about the other two new characters (two more returning characters are also expected).

We hear that Gaia’s voice actress will be revealed at the dedicated stage event at Tokyo Game Show.

After listening to many samples, the team picked paying attention to whether the voice matched the character’s appearance and personality.

The decision for the other two new characters also followed the same criteria, so their voices are provided by “wonderful people who are perfect for them.”

Incidentally, here’s an interesting puzzle for you to solve. According to the tweet, the first new character’s name is composed of three kanji or kana, while the second has only two.

If the new characters have non-Japanese names like Gaia, this means that their names have respectively three and two syllabes. May want to start guessing, keeping in mind that they never appeared in the series before.

The Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate stage show will happen on September 15 at 2 PM Japan time, and it’ll be livestreamed here.

If you’d like to see more about the game, you can enjoy the official reveal and the first screenshos.

Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate launches in Japan in December 2019 and in the west in February 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
