In order to customize your look, you’ll need to head into the Neighborhood and open the MyPlayer options menu.

How to Change Clothes & Shoes in NBA 2K20

Once inside, go to the Clothes section and you’ll get a slew of different options to change what your character is wearing.

Scroll down to the desired piece of your outfit you wish to change – clothes, shoes, caps, and accessories – and choose which one you’d like to wear.

Doing this changes what you look like in the Neighborhood. It should be noted that this will not alter what your character looks like in the PRO-AM game mode.

To change the PRO-AM clothing, follow the exact same steps listed above after you open the PRO-AM section.

MyCareer NBA match clothes and shoes can only be changed while in the locker room section of the mode. Obviously this will be a bit more limited than the customization options you’ll find in the Neighborhood, but there will still be arm sleeves, shoes, socks, undershorts, and outfits that can be purchased for VC.

Now that you’re looking and feeling fresh, it is time to hit the court.

To Summarize,

  1. Unlock the Neighborhood in MyCareer

  2. Go to the Clothes section in MyPlayer

  3. Customize different attires for PRO-AM, Neighborhood, and In-Game outfits

Each attires are found in their respective tabs, with the game outfits being customized in the locker room.
