As any Fortnite player knows, the game’s battle pass is one of the most enticing pieces of content every few months. It’s a chance for everyone to restart at tier one and earn skins and more by leveling up through the pass’ 100 levels.
Before diving into what level 100,000 XP is in Fortnite Season 9, let’s talk about how to actually earn XP.
How to Earn XP
If you’re a veteran of the game, then just know that virtually nothing has changed in the ways to earn XP in the game. If you’re someone newer to the game, though, you should know that there are three main ways to earn XP while playing Fortnite.
The first way is by simply playing and completing matches you begin. Every time you finish a match, you get XP.
During those matches, you can kill players to get additional XP. You’ll earn XP for each kill you make during a match.
Finally, by completing the daily and weekly challenges, and the special challenges that are sometimes in the game, you’ll earn additional XP on top of the that which you earn for killing enemy players and finishing matches.
You should focus on challenges and kills during the match to maximize your XP gains.
What Level 100,000 XP Is
Now that we know how to earn XP, let’s talk about what level 100,000 XP is.
At level 38, you’ll have earned 96,700 XP, so not quite 100,000. When you reach level 39, you’ll have earned 102,500, which is obviously more than 100,000.
With that being said, 100,000 XP will see you at level 38. 100,000 XP serves as a midpoint between level 38 and level 39.
This is all based on XP from last season, the numbers might be a tad different, but we don’t expect the numbers to be drastically different — more than likely, they’ll be unnoticeable as you’ll likely still be at the same level, even if the exact level XP is different.
