It feels almost unfair to include any game that’s made with Capcom’s proprietary RE Engine, but here we are.
The Devil May Cry games have always been beautiful, thanks largely to how cool and stylish the action just looks onscreen. But with Devil May Cry 5, the series has been elevated to a whole other level.
DMC5’s environments are completely and utterly stunning, and all the character renders are these perfectly sculpted and beautifully shimmering supermodels that would give Lightning the Louis Vuitton prodigy a run for her money.
In all seriousness, though, the RE Engine adds a layer of realism to the game, bringing the different levels to life with the insane attention to detail provided here. Devil May Cry 5 can get gross and gruesome at times, but even then it’s hard to tear your eyes away because of how attractively shiny everything is.
