We get to see quite a few of the game’s popular characters, and we learn more about its release.

The game will launch simultaneously worldwide this “early summer” and it’ll be playable at PAX East 2019 between March 28 and March 31.

The game was officially announced at Sony’s pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference (PlayStation Lineup Tour) last year.

You can check out the new trailer below, and see if it gets you pumped for the release this summer. It certainly looks fantastic to me.

Over ten years have passed since the launch of Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny, so it’s certainly about time for the series to come back. Looks like SNK is pulling all the stops to launch a big one this time.

Incidentally, the official lineup for EVO 2019 includes Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st], Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Dragon Ball FighterZ, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, Tekken 7, Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, SoulCalibur VI, Mortal Kombat 11, and Samurai Shodown.

EVO 2019 will be hosted in Las Vegas between August 2 and August 4, 2019.

He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
