How to Increase Health in Far Cry New Dawn
Far Cry New Dawn serves as a standalone sequel to Far Cry 5, and tells the story of what exactly happened to Hope County after it became a nuclear wasteland. To survive, you’ll need a large enough health bar of course. Here’s how to increase health in Far Cry New Dawn.
At the start of the game, you’ll have a standard health bar that can be replenished with the use of Medkits. You’ll also automatically regenerate health if you don’t take damage for a while.
However, that singular health bar will cease to be enough once you start meeting stronger enemies, and you’ll probably want to increase that bar in Far Cry New Dawn.
To increase health in Far Cry New Dawn, you need to upgrade the Infirmary facility back in Prosperity. Getting the first upgrade for the Infirmary will require 150 Ethanol, and you can check out our Ethanol guide here if you’re having trouble getting enough of this precious resource.
Once you have enough Ethanol, you can either return to Prosperity and upgrade the Infirmary from there, or just do it from the menu. Press the touchpad (or View button on Xbox One) to bring up the menu, go to the Homebase tab, select Infirmary, and confirm that you want to spend the Ethanol to upgrade it.
Once you do so, your health bar will get a little larger, allowing you to take more hits before getting killed in Far Cry New Dawn. It’s definitely a pretty handy upgrade to have.
The more you upgrade the Infirmary, the more you’ll be able to increase your health bar.
