How to Change Character Appearance in Far Cry New Dawn
With all of the different character customization options available in Far Cry New Dawn, players are probably wondering how to change their appearance or if the feature is available at all. Here’s how to change character appearing in Far Cry New Dawn.
It’s a fair question, and considering players can customize key elements of their character’s appearance at the start of the game like hair style, skin color and gender, most would assume there would be more customization elements available.
As it stands though, there are limits to how much you can change your character after starting the game.
After selecting your character’s base appearance, there is no way to alter it. That means once you start the game with a certain hair color, skin color, gender and physical features, you’re stuck with them until the title’s conclusion.
There’s still the chance this could be changed with an upcoming patch, but considering developer Ubisoft has gone on record saying the title won’t have DLC, it’s a slim to nil hope at best.
Thankfully, there are other elements of character appearance that players can change, namely through their clothing.
From the start of the game on, players can change their clothing either from the main menu by pressing the touchpad/views button and selecting the Character tab or by interacting with the duffle bag found next to the fireplace in Prosperity.
Both allow the player to select from a number of different headwear, foot wear, tops, bottoms and accessories at any time.
The options players have to choose from for their outfits can be increased as well. New clothing options can be purchased from vendors or earned by completing tasks or missions for the game’s many NPCs and allies.
Hopefully, this clears up how to change character appearance in Far Cry New Dawn. Players can currently dive into the series’ post-apocalyptic entry on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
