How Long is Crackdown 3 on Xbox One and PC?
Crackdown 3 has finally arrived exclusively for Xbox One and PC owners and players are now able to dive in and experience the latest in the series. Whether you’re grabbing it via Game Pass, or buying it straight up, you’re probably wondering how long Crackdown 3 is.
It’s kind of a loaded question to answer how long Crackdown 3 is because the game gives you a lot of freedom in terms of how and when you want to approach the game’s main objectives.
It’s an open-world game without a tight linear narrative. There are nine total targets representing three major factions that support Terranova’s evil activities: Logistics, Security, and Industry. You start by killing the Lieutenants targets of each faction, and then eventually move up to the department heads.
Once you’ve defeated all three department heads, the final boss, Elizabeth Nemand becomes vulnerable and you can take her on too.
Before you can take on the Lieutenants however, you need to clear out specific objectives in the open-world in order to gain enough data on the target’s locations. For example, taking enough Chemical Operations will eventually make Djmon Keita vulnerable for attack.
You can blast through the minimum requirements for every single target and shorten the length to probably complete the game in about ten hours or so. Doing so will be difficult since you probably wouldn’t have leveled up your skills enough and/or gained enough abilities if you did the minimum for everything.
Having enough firepower and movement skills is crucial for surviving in the chaotic gameplay of Crackdown 3, especially for newcomers in the series. However, if you’re a veteran of the series, or just really proficient in fast-paced third-person action games, you can probably pull it off.
For most people, it will probably take closer to 15-20 hours if you’re playing through more naturally and stopping to complete side objectives and grinding up your skills a bit more to increase your chances of success.
If you want to extend the length of Crackdown 3 you certainly can. There are a lot of optional side objectives and additional facilities to destroy beyond the minimum requirements. You can easily blow past the 20-hour mark if you want to complete all the optional objectives for each target before taking them on.
