Let’s get this out of the way first and foremost. Unlike most battle royale games, especially the most popular ones, you can be brought back into the game after being completely downed and out. Once you’re knocked down after taking severe damage, you’re going to need a buddy to come over and revive you, like you would need in most games. However, you’re not permanently knocked out of the game if that happens, at least not necessarily. You do have another chance.
Grab their banner which is dropped upon death, and bring it to a respawn beacon located somewhere on the map. It could be a perilous journey, but it’s worth it if you get your teammate back in the game, throwing the odds back in your favor.
Now as mentioned, you can self revive yourself, but you’ll need a lot of luck. There exists an item called a Knockdown Shield, that if you get a legendary version of it, can be consumed to self revive one time. It’s quite rare though so good luck finding it.
