Travis Touchdown is making his debut on the Nintendo Switch after No More Heroes being a hit on Wii. The game doesn’t have to be played alone, though. Here’s everything you need to know about how to play splitscreen local co-op multiplayer in Travis Strikes Again.

The single player part of the game can be played in co-op too. If you’re on your own, you will play as Travis, playing through the games within the game that make up Travis Strikes Again.

Unlike the Wii games, the new title isn’t open world, instead following the style of the games that are included. Top-down is the prominent style, though.

Thankfully, if you want to play with someone else, you can jump into splitscreen local co-op multiplayer without much trouble.

Once you’ve started up the game and jumped in as you usually would, you will need to press the + button. Then, you can select the co-op option from the menu that comes up.

If you press A on that option, you will create a tag team and start playing in co-op from where you were.

You’ll still play as Travis, while your partner will play as Bad Man. When playing on your own, Bad Man tags along for a lot of the journey, so the splitscreen local co-op multiplayer integrates pretty well.

That’s everything you need to know about how to play splitscreen local co-op multiplayer in Travis Strikes Again. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our Travis Strikes Again wiki guide.
